The BW Icon, explained:

• “BW” is an acronym for “Blue Water”. For clarity of context, it’s the first part of Blue Water Freedivers™️.

• The “B” is my actual and obviously overly-lazy signature. Speaking of simplistic forgery, anyone who has been out to eat with me when I’ve had my contacts in knows this, as they’ve had to forge my signature on the receipt with all the numbers on it that I couldn’t read. Don’t sue me restaurant people. Or my bank. Actually, I was just kidding.

• The “W” is a dive mask. Duh. I think that’s pretty clear after all the countless hours I spent in Adobe Illustrator™️ trying to shape it to make it look like one.

• The standalone “BW” icon is a standalone icon including just the “BW”. It can be used to signal that you’re a Blue Water Freedivers student, general appreciater of logo redesign attempts, or random Blue Water merch purchaser. Kind of like how secret societies have emblems that identify themselves. I said “kind of”.
